Google trends can help give people an idea of what is popular in a ceratin area or region. In my data analysis I found that that there is a correlation between the search words stress, anxiety, depression, exam, and tests. It is my conclusion that the relationship between these search terms has to do with the issue of test anxiety and exam stress. During final exams, all the search words tend to spike. This is likely to be the cause of students struggling with test anxiety that lead them to search the key words stress, anxiety, depression, exam, and tests to get a better understanding of what is is they are stuggling with and how to combat it. Test anxiety and exam stress creates massive fear in a student to take an exam, even if the student is well prepared for the exam. Causes of test anxiety can consist of fear of failure, lack of preparation, and poor test history. To combat test anxiety and exam stress, it is important for a student to be prepared for the test, maintain a positive attitude, and stay focused during the test.
